Job summary

JPS Composite Materials, based in Anderson, SC, seeks a dedicated operator to run and monitor weaving and finishing equipment, ensuring smooth daily production. You will support maintenance checks, assist in training, and escalate issues to the Production Supervisor to maintain safety and efficiency.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety programs, and participation in daily meetings and reporting. Candidates should be comfortable with shift routines and on-site collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience operating industrial weaving/processing equipment.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance checks.
• Willingness to escalate issues to supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment / machines in prep, weave, finishing, cloth, or other areas to support plant processes.
• Perform periodic checks on equipment and troubleshoot problems.
• Serve as SME in department and escalate issues to Production Supervisor.
• Assist Production Supervisor/Manager with tours and interviews in the area.
• Be a point-person for day-to-day machine issues and training coordination.
• Contribute to daily scheduling and required reporting.
