JPS Composite Materials is seeking an energetic 3rd Shift Intermediate Machine Operator for the Finishing Range in Anderson, SC. You will set tension, speed and temperature controls, monitor equipment, identify maintenance needs, and ensure accurate production data is recorded for each finishing order.

• Must read, understand and follow written instructions.
• Must write legibly and perform basic math.
• Must have good vision and be able to lift moderate to heavy loads.
• Must not be scared of heights; able to stand and walk continually.

Responsibilities

• Set controls for tension, speed and temperature for production runs on the finishing range.
• Monitor machine operation and detect maintenance issues, taking appropriate action.
• Delegate duties to utilities to maximize product quality and efficiency.
• Record production data for each finishing order as required.
