Job summary

JPS Composite Materials LLC is hiring for a 3rd Shift entry level Machine Operator-Finishing Range Utility in Anderson, SC. Responsibilities include operating range and Carmelizer lines, producing quality fabric, following procedures, and supporting maintenance and Lean initiatives.

Requires ability to lift, stand and walk, and pass forklift tests. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, life insurance, disability coverage, 401K with company match.

Qualifications

• Read and follow written instructions (including passing tests).
• Basic math and calculator skills required for measurements and QC.
• Proficient with computers and basic software for reporting.
• Ability to read instructions and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform range and Carmelizer operation tasks safely.
• Produce quality fabric and identify defects with corrective action.
• Follow all job procedures and shift handover requirements.
• Assist maintenance to minimize downtime and participate in 5S and Lean initiatives.
• Inspect hoist at shift start using checklist.
