Job summary

Five Star Management LLC. in Houston, TX is seeking a materials handler responsible for monitoring looms, placing warp and weft bobbins, and managing scrap and final bales. You will scan bobbin pallets, complete production reports, and report any equipment issues to supervision.

Strong emphasis on safety, GMPs, and accurate, timely task execution. Reading/writing in English or Spanish is required. Must stand and lift up to 50 pounds in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment with PPE provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and follow safety protocols.
• Must communicate effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with safety regulations (GMPs, LOTO) is preferred.
• Ability to read and write in English or Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Safety, Food Safety, Quality and Good Housekeeping standards.
• Report incidents or unsafe conditions immediately to supervisor.
• Place warp and weft bobbins in assigned areas.
• Scan tickets of bobbin pallets in the system.
• Complete production reports accurately.
• Collect empty cores from looms.
• Operate press machine handle.
• Report equipment malfunctions to supervisor for troubleshooting.
• Maintain housekeeping and PPE rules; work with urgency and accuracy.
