Polytex Fibers Corporation is seeking a Material Handler to monitor looms, place warp and weft bobbins, and manage waste scraps. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and housekeeping compliance on the manufacturing floor.

Candidates should be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor looms and place warp and weft bobbins with machinery.
• Handle weight scrap from looms and create final bales.
• Ensure compliance with Safety, Food Safety, Quality and Good Housekeeping practices.
• Immediately report incidents or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Place warp and weft bobbins in assigned areas; scan bobbin pallet tickets.
• Complete production reports and collect empty cores from looms.
• Operate press machine handle; report equipment malfunctions.
• Adhere to housekeeping standards and all safety rules and regulations.
• Perform tasks with urgency and accuracy; undertake other duties as assigned.

The material handler is responsible for monitoring looms, placing warp, and weft bobbins along with machinery. Responsible for weight scrap from looms and make final bales.DESCRIPTIONEnsures compliance regarding Safety, Food Safety, Quality and Good Housekeeping practices for all activities.Immediately report to supervisor any incident and unsafe condition identified in the workplace.Places warp and weft bobbins in assigned areas.Scan tickets of bobbin pallets in the system accurately.Complete production report.Collect empty cores from the looms.Operate press machine handle.Report any equipment malfunctions or unusual operations to supervisor for troubleshooting.Adhere to housekeeping standards and all company safety rules and regulations.Perform all tasks with a sense of urgency and accuracy.Conduct other duties as assigned by managementCOMPETENCIESAbility to work independently.Must be able to communicate effectively.Knowledge and adherence to safety regulations and protocols.Mental alertness to identify and react to machine processes, quality and safety issues.Dependable, punctual, and reliable.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy and safety.Basic math and measuring ability.Be able to read and write.
