Job summary

Responsibilities

• Scan tickets of bobbin pallets in the system.
• Complete production reports accurately.
• Collect empty cores from looms.
• Operate press machine handle.
• Report equipment malfunctions to supervisor for troubleshooting.
• Maintain housekeeping and PPE rules; work with urgency and accuracy.

Job Details: Job Location: Houston, TX 77041, The material handler is responsible for monitoring looms, placing warp, and weft bobbins along with machinery. Responsible for weight scrap from looms and make final bales.

DESCRIPTION

• Ensures compliance regarding Safety, Food Safety, Quality and Good Housekeeping practices for all activities.
• Immediately report to supervisor any incident and unsafe condition identified in the workplace.
• Places warp and weft bobbins in assigned areas.
• Scan tickets of bobbin pallets in the system accurately.
• Complete production report.
• Collect empty cores from the looms.
• Operate press machine handle.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or unusual operations to supervisor for troubleshooting.
• Adhere to housekeeping standards and all company safety rules and regulations.
• Perform all tasks with a sense of urgency and accuracy.
• Conduct other duties as assigned by management

EXPERIENCE

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Competence in operating basic tools and measuring devices (e.g., tape measure, scale).
• Ability of repetitive reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, kneeling, carrying, going up and down ladders/steps.
• High frequency of handling heavy equipment (such as pallet jack, electric pallet jack, etc.)

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Work is performed primarily on the manufacturing floor, which may involve exposure to loud noises, machinery, high temperatures and chemicals.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
