Job summary

Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency seeks an Energy Efficiency Program Coordinator to lead the Weatherization Assistance Program delivery, verify client eligibility, and manage utility rebates and incentives. You will coordinate appliance orders, invoices, and documentation while ensuring compliance and timely reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience in human services, energy efficiency, weatherization, housing, or related programs preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Verify client eligibility and maintain accurate client and program documentation.
• Identify, prepare, and submit utility rebate and incentive applications and supporting documentation.
• Track rebate applications and payments and reconcile rebate checks with invoices and expenditures.
• Order approved appliances, equipment, and materials for eligible clients and track orders through delivery and installation.
• Collect and review contractor and vendor documentation, including invoices and installation records.
• Review and submit invoices and supporting documentation for reimbursement.
• Maintain accurate program data in EmpowOR and other databases; assist audits and monitoring.
