Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking an Energy Crew Member in Piketon, OH to perform weatherization and construction work improving energy efficiency and safety for clients. You will complete retrofit measures, general repairs, and assist with diagnostic testing under supervision.

The role requires physical endurance, safety focus, and the ability to work independently within team settings. EPA Lead RRP and HWAP certifications must be obtained within 12 months of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Reliable transportation and proof of insurance required.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform weatherization retrofit measures and general construction tasks.
• Assist with diagnostic testing as required by program guidelines.
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and warehouse duties as assigned.
• Operate agency vehicles and complete daily invoices/documentation.
• Attend trainings and obtain required certifications within specified timelines.
