Job summary

ŌURA is seeking a Silicon Architect to define the custom silicon for our next-generation wearable products. You will translate product needs into silicon requirements and collaborate with silicon vendors to shape the architecture and execution roadmap.

This role spans product, engineering, operations, and external partners in a highly collaborative, hybrid setting in San Francisco. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in semiconductor architecture for consumer electronics and a proven

Qualifications

• 10+ years in semiconductor definition and architecture for high-volume consumer electronics
• Experience translating cross-functional requirements into silicon specifications
• Strong understanding of full semiconductor development flows from RTL to production ramp
• Experience working with external semiconductor vendors or foundries
• Deep understanding of low-power design, power modeling, and state transitions

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate custom-silicon architectures for future wearable platforms
• Gather requirements from product, hardware, firmware, software, and operations teams and translate into silicon targets
• Collaborate with silicon vendors to evaluate architecture options and drive execution on timelines
• Lead technical trade-off discussions with vendors across compute, memory, connectivity, security, and packaging
• Define validation, bring-up, and production-readiness plans with internal teams and vendors
• Stay current on emerging semiconductor technologies relevant to wearables
