Job summary

Ōura is seeking a Compliance Engineer to drive global regulatory certifications for our wearable technology, from design through market launch, in a hybrid role based in San Francisco.

You will partner with Hardware and Firmware teams, manage labs and agencies, navigate FCC, ISED, EU standards, and ensure ongoing compliance for new and existing products.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product compliance for consumer electronics.
• Strong knowledge of FCC, ISED, EU/CE requirements.
• Experience working with third-party labs and OEM/ODM partners.

Responsibilities

• Drive Design for Compliance initiatives across HW, firmware, and product teams.
• Oversee in-house and third-party testing, validation, and regulatory issue analyses.
• Manage relationships and timelines with labs/agencies to certify new products.
• Navigate FCC, ISED, EU standards to ensure market access and ongoing compliance.
• Collaborate with OEM/ODM partners to align manufacturing with standards.
