Job summary

Oura is seeking a dynamic Senior Manager of Electrical Engineering to lead the core electronics for next-generation wearable devices. You will shape electrical architecture, design, performance, and reliability, reporting to the Director of Engineering in a hybrid role based in San Francisco.

You will mentor engineers, drive cross-functional collaboration, and oversee testing, validation, and vendor management to deliver cutting-edge wearables with optimized power and sensor integration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in managing electrical engineering teams with embedded systems focus.
• Deep expertise in analog and digital circuit design, power management, and sensor integration.
• Strong testing and validation methodologies for electrical systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Experience working with overseas manufacturing partners.
• Strong communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
• Strategic mindset with a passion for innovative, high-quality products.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers, fostering technical excellence.
• Define electrical architecture and oversee system design for wearables.
• Oversee power management to maximize battery life and efficiency.
• Ensure designs meet performance, reliability, and regulatory targets.
• Collaborate with Product Design, Firmware, Software, PM, and Operations.
• Define and oversee electrical testing and validation plans.
• Identify and mitigate electrical design risks.
• Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers.
