Job summary

Kestra Medical Technologies, Inc. is seeking an ASSURE Patient Specialist to conduct patient fittings for wearable defibrillators and train local patients. The role supports the sales team and Regional Clinical Advisors, serving as the local patient care representative.

The APS will travel to hospitals and patients’ homes, measure garments, schedule services, and maintain inventory. A background in patient care and a willingness to work flexible hours are essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year in a paid patient care experience (not as a family caregiver).
• Clinical or engineering background (nurses, cardiac device sales reps, engineers, catheterization lab techs, PAs, or ECG techs).
• Completion of background check; Florida and Ohio level 2 screening.

Responsibilities

• Fit and train local patients with a wearable defibrillator; certified as an ASSURE Patient Specialist.
• Provide instruction and build confidence with ASSURE patients.
• Coordinate with prescribers, caregivers and patients to schedule services.
• Travel to hospitals, homes and clinics to provide fittings.
• Measure patient to determine garment size; handle paperwork for garment/services.
• Manage inventory of Assure system kits, garments, and equipment used in fittings.
• Adhere to confidentiality policies and ensure HIPAA compliance.
