Job summary

Kestra Medical Technologies, Inc. is seeking an ASSURE Patient Specialist (APS) in Las Vegas, NV to fit and train patients with a wearable defibrillator.

The role supports the sales organization and Regional Clinical Advisors, acting as the local patient care representative for effective fittings. Responsibilities include patient instruction, scheduling with prescribers and caregivers, and travel to hospitals or patients’ homes.

Qualifications

• 1 year of paid patient care experience.
• Clinical or engineering background including nurses, cardiac device sales reps, clinical engineers, catheterization lab technicians, physician assistants, or ECG technicians.
• Valid driver’s license in state of residence with a good driving record.
• Completion of background check and credentialing requirements.
• Willingness to travel and pay an annual DME fee where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Fit and train local patients with a wearable defibrillator.
• Provide instruction and instill confidence in Assure patients.
• Travel to hospitals and patients’ homes to provide fitting services.
• Manage inventory of kits, garments, and equipment used in fittings.
• Adhere to the Pledge of Confidentiality and HIPAA policies.
