Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a Weapon System Test Engineer to join our team in Dahlgren to test TTWCS software across configurations. The role requires on-site presence at King George, VA, and at the customer site NSWC Dahlgren, with travel optional.

The candidate must hold an Active Secret Clearance and have a STEM Bachelor's degree or military experience as TTWCS operator. Compensation targets $68k–$90k USD with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• BS in science, technology, engineering or mathematics or military operational experience as TTWCS operator.
• Experience with CBT&E.
• Experience with automated testing tools.
• Experience using Jira to document and track CRs/PRs.
• Ability to assign lab resources and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing of tactical weapon systems in lab configurations.
• Document lab logs and modify lab hardware, equipment, simulators, and networks.
• Analyze test outputs and develop data extraction and reduction steps for verification.
• Create and verify Test Verification Matrices, test plans and reports.
• Deliver technical briefs and present at reviews; communicate with management.
• Coordinate lab resources and personnel assignments to tasks.
