Job summary

SimVentions in King George, VA, is seeking a Weapon System Test Engineer to join our team in Dahlgren to test the Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control System (TTWCS) software across surface, subsurface, and FMS configurations. The role requires on-site work at our Dahlgren and King George facilities and a U.S.

citizenship with an active Secret clearance. Prior Navy experience is preferred and experience with CBT&E, automated testing, and Jira is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics field or military operational experience as TTWCS Operator and Maintenance Technician
• Must possess or be eligible for an active Secret clearance with US citizenship
• Experience with lab testing, data collection, and test documentation

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing of tactical weapon systems in various configurations and builds in a lab setting.
• Modify/troubleshoot lab hardware, simulators, and network configurations.
• Analyze test data and support data extraction and reduction for requirement verification.
• Document system problems via CR/PR and verify fixes.
• Develop and maintain Test Verification Matrices and test plans/reports.
• Present testing results and briefs to management and customers.
