Job summary

Sunflower Bank, N.A. seeks an energetic, highly motivated Wealth Management Portfolio Operations Manager for our Irvine, CA location.

This full-time role leads the Portfolio Accounting team and drives implementation of new portfolio ops tech, including reconciliation, reporting, and vendor coordination. The position requires strong project management and leadership skills and a deep understanding of investment management operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in investment management operations.
• Well organized with ability to design and implement successful project plans.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of personnel.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Accounting (PA) lead on FFA Project Team for conversions/implementations impacting PA.
• Collaborate with Project Team to identify requirements, success criteria, resources, risks and deliverables.
• Coordinate with outside vendors to identify and resolve issues.
• Design and maintain Portfolio Accounting workflows.
• Manage the Portfolio Accounting team including reconciliation, corporate actions, pricing, and reporting.
• Daily review and resolution of custodial issues and coordination with the Trust Department.
• Final review of daily reconciliation files and communication of corrections.
• Coordinate with Trading, Account Services, and Billing on PA-related workflows.
• Oversee development and review of risk control reports.
• Direct PA team in data integrity, workflow improvements, and enhanced reporting.
• Disseminate industry knowledge via on-site and remote training.
• Complete all required training modules by due dates.
• Perform duties in accordance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
