Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Branch Manager to drive revenue, profit, and risk management for the office. The role emphasizes recruiting and retaining Financial Advisors, building strong teams, and delivering exceptional client service while upholding regulatory and ethical standards.

The candidate will report to the Market Executive and lead branch performance, culture, and compliance across the region with a focus on sustainable growth and high service levels.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience and/or training including demonstrated success managing a substantial branch office or equivalent.
• Active Series 7, 8 (or 9 and 10), 66 (or 63 and 65) and 3 registrations (Series 31 acceptable if branch conducts managed futures business only) Other licenses as required for role or by management

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue, increase profit before taxes, and manage risk for the branch.
• Recruit and retain Financial Advisors for the branch.
• Develop cohesive teams and provide consistent leadership; report to Market Executive.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and maintain high ethical standards.
• Coach and mentor staff; build talent and leadership within the branch.
