Job summary

Morgan Stanley Wealth Management seeks a Resident Manager to drive revenue and manage risk in a producing branch. You’ll build a high-net-worth client base, lead a cohesive team, and ensure strong client service and ethical practices across the branch.

You will align with Market Executives and Branch Managers, oversee fiscal and personnel management, and promote diversity and inclusion while maintaining regulatory compliance. A dynamic, growth-oriented environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent education or experience.
• At least 5+ years of experience as a Financial Advisor (with satisfactory production and compliance), or equivalent branch management or industry experience.
• Active Series 7, 8 (or 9 and 10), 66 (or 63 and 65) and 3 registrations (Series 31 acceptable if branch conducts managed futures business only) and other licenses as required.

Responsibilities

• Build a client base of high net worth households by prospecting and developing new client relationships.
• Help manage client investment needs consistent with Firm policies and industry requirements; stay current with regulatory requirements and market info.
• Recruiting efforts: translate competitor offerings into Morgan Stanley Wealth Management products and identify how recruits meet client needs.
• Drive sales by capitalizing on Firm initiatives and build strong relationships with corporate departments and strategic partners.
• Lead and coach the branch team; conduct regular meetings and participate in regional initiatives.
• Ensure branch sales and financial performance; monitor regulatory compliance and risk across the branch.
