Job summary

Bank of America’s Merrill Advisor Development Program seeks individuals excited to launch a career as a Financial Advisor. You will identify client needs, develop relationships, review goals, and present comprehensive recommendations aligned with both existing and prospective clients.

Qualifications

Current Series 7 & 66 licenses (63/65 in lieu of 66) required.
Minimum of one year of experience in financial services or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded.
Minimum of one year experience in the investments industry with investment product knowledge.
Proven ability to engage with and influence others.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Effective written and verbal communication; ability to quickly build trust.

Responsibilities

Handles inbound inquiries regarding Merrill offerings.
Positions Merrill and Bank of America capabilities to clients.
Collects client profile data following KYC procedures to open accounts.
Serves as interim Financial Advisor, recommending suitable investments based on objectives, resources, time horizon, and risk.
Documents all client interactions and opportunities in Salesforce.
