Job summary

Bank of America’s Merrill Advisor Development Program seeks a Financial Advisor in Bellevue, WA. You’ll build relationships with high-net-worth clients, assess goals, and deliver comprehensive investment recommendations alongside Merrill teams.

The role emphasizes training, mentoring, and a defined path to grow a client book while collaborating with banking and investment partners. A strong sales orientation and licensing are required.

Qualifications

• Currently holds Series 7 & 66 licenses (63 & 65 in lieu of 66).
• Minimum of one year experience in financial services and/or a sales environment with goals met.
• Investments industry experience including product knowledge and training.
• Proven ability to engage with and influence others.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to build trust quickly.
• Proven ability to source clients through prospecting and networking.
• Ability to work where compensation is performance-based.
• Team-oriented with collaboration across partners.
• Proficient with CRM and office software.

Responsibilities

• Handles inbound inquiries regarding Merrill offerings.
• Positions Merrill and Bank of America capabilities to clients.
• Collects client profile data following KYC to open accounts.
• Serves as interim Financial Advisor, giving suitable investment recommendations.
• Documents client interactions in Salesforce accurately.
