Job summary

Bank of America’s Merrill Advisor Development Program seeks a Financial Advisor to identify client needs, develop relationships, review goals, and deliver comprehensive recommendations aligned with clients’ life priorities. You will collaborate with Merrill Advisor Teams to grow a practice and receive mentorship.

You’ll engage in sourcing clients, presenting tailored investment strategies, and support end-to-end advisory services across banking and investment solutions.

Qualifications

• Currently holds Series 7 & 66 (63 & 65 in lieu of 66) licenses.
• Minimum of one year experience in financial services and/or a sales environment with goals.
• Minimum of one year experience in investments, including investment training and knowledge of products/services.
• Proven ability to engage with and influence others.
• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
• Proven ability to source clients through prospecting and networking.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to work where compensation is performance-based.

Responsibilities

• Handles inbound inquiries from leads regarding Merrill offerings.
• Positions the capabilities of Merrill and Bank of America.
• Collects client profile data following KYC to open accounts.
• Provides recommendations based on objectives, resources, time horizon and risk.
• Documents client interactions and opportunities in Salesforce.
