Job summary

The State of Michigan is seeking an Administrative Manager to lead the WCMS support team within the DTMB Center for Shared Solutions. You will oversee a complex enterprise application and supervise staff, aligning priorities with agency needs and customer service standards.

You will collaborate across departments, manage project activities, and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver reliable public-facing information on Michigan.gov.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting a complex enterprise application or similar system.
• Knowledge of management principles, supervision, communication, and organization.
• Knowledge of system development methods for new systems and enhancements.
• Ability to instruct, evaluate, and communicate with others both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work well under pressure and with diverse teams.
• Experience coordinating IT project teams and communicating with non-technical customers.
• Knowledge of enterprise IT program administration and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and control of functions and activities in the work area, set priorities, and allocate staff.
• Supervise activities including employee evaluation, counseling, selection, and training.
• Liaise with cross-department teams to ensure customer service excellence.
• Oversee WCMS platform support as system business owner and guide technical and user support teams.
