Job summary

State of Michigan in Lansing seeks an IT Manager to lead the Digital Accessibility team within the DTMB's Center for Shared Solutions. You will oversee DSAT testing of SOM applications to ensure adherence to Digital Standards for Websites and Applications, including accessibility and branding.

The role requires directing staff, setting priorities, and providing technical guidance while working across departments to deliver user-friendly solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
• Minimum three years of professional IT experience equivalent to IT Infrastructure/Programmer/Analyst or IT Project Coordinator at P11; or one year at P12.
• Experience in supervising IT projects and teams.
• Knowledge of WCAG and digital accessibility standards.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Digital Accessibility team and DSAT testing across SOM applications.
• Set priorities and allocate staff within the team.
• Evaluate and mentor staff; provide technical guidance and training.
• Collaborate with other departments to deliver accessible solutions and meet standards.
