Job summary

The Department of Technology Management and Budget (DTMB) seeks a Departmental Analyst who will liaison between the State of Michigan and Federal, State, Tribal and Local partners, K-12 and higher education, and nonprofits. You will drive cross-boundary technology collaboration and geospatial projects, support MiSAIL grant activities, and organize program meetings.

You will contribute to a large, complex organization, presenting to stakeholders and facilitating workshops, while prioritizing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience coordinating across government entities is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of geospatial technology and GIS platforms.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Experience leading meetings or workshops is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between the State of Michigan and external partners.
• Foster cross-boundary technology and geospatial collaboration partnerships.
• Provide program support for MiSAIL grant activities and related projects.
• Research and apply for grant opportunities; organize and attend program meetings.
• Maintain relationships with program partners and provide technical recommendations.
