Job summary

WCF Insurance in Sandy, Utah is seeking a Worker's Compensation Claims Assistant to provide administrative and technical support for the workers' compensation claims team. The role collaborates with adjusters, claimants, medical providers, and policyholders to ensure accurate records and responsive service.

The position is in-person at our Sandy, Utah office with standard hours from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required, associate degree preferred.
• Experience in claims or insurance preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to claims adjuster.
• Communicate with claimants, adjusters, and stakeholders.
• Gather information, provide updates, and answer inquiries.
• Assist in processing and resolution of claims, verify facts and coverage.
• Manage work queues and process documents per guidelines.
• Compile medical records for evaluations as requested.
• Answer calls and relay messages to staff.
