Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to claims adjuster.
• Communicate effectively with claimants, adjusters, and other stakeholders.
• Interact with policyholders, medical providers, and other stakeholders to gather information, provide updates, and answer inquiries.
• Assist in processing and resolution of claims, including verifying facts and coverage, entering new losses into the claims system, and managing incoming and outgoing claims correspondence.
• Manage work queues and process documents based on best practice guidelines.
• Compile and organize medical records for independent medical evaluations and other purposes as requested.
• Answer phone calls and effectively relay messages to claims staff.

This role provides administrative and technical support for the workers' compensation claims team, assisting with claim setup, documentation, correspondence, information gathering, and claim processing activities. The WC Claims Assistant works closely with adjusters, claimants, medical providers, policyholders, and other stakeholders to support efficient claim handling, maintain accurate records, and provide responsive customer service.This position is in-person at our Sandy, Utah office.
