Job summary

EDSI is seeking a Work-Based Learning (WBL) Coordinator for In-School Youth across the Gulf Coast region. This role develops employer partnerships, coordinates internships, tours, and events, and monitors placements to align with youth career pathways.

The position involves recruiting employers, coordinating referrals with Youth Career Advisors, and supporting onboarding and reporting. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred, with 50–75% regional travel expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred; related field is acceptable.
• Experience in employer engagement, workforce development, or career services is highly desirable.
• Experience coordinating internships, WBL, employment opportunities, or career events is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop employer partnerships and work-based learning opportunities for In-School Youth participants.
• Coordinate internships, micro-internships, industry tours, and employer events.
• Monitor worksites, participant progress, and employer feedback to inform career planning.
• Recruit employers for WBL activities and manage referrals with Advisors and leadership.
