Job summary

Best Buddies International seeks a Manager, Work-Based Learning in Miami, FL to oversee internships and Work-Based Learning opportunities for students in Pre-ETS and related transition programs. You will coach participants, collaborate with families and employers, and ensure successful placements through strong coordination and case management.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience or employment in job coaching, counseling, or special education, or other related experience working with persons with disabilities; OR a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and one year of experience as described.
• Preferably 1 year experience as an employment consultant or manager – transitions program with strong communications and relationship-building.
• Must be adaptable and able to develop and balance multiple relationships and achieve results with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee coordination of internships and all Work-Based Learning opportunities across states.
• Assist students and families using a person-centered approach to maximize independence.
• Secure community-based WBL sites aligned with student interests.
• Provide orientation/onboarding and on-the-job coaching for placements.
• Maintain caseloads and document services in participant records.
