Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. in Rutland, VT is seeking a Waterworks Municipal Outside Sales Representative to build and grow customer relationships across the assigned territory.

This field-based role offers a commission-eligible compensation plan, fuel card and travel support, with total earnings estimated at $90,000 to $140,000 annually. You will identify new business opportunities and support orders from quote to delivery.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry related sales experience preferred.
• Results oriented, self-motivated, ability to complete tasks on time and build relationships.
• Strong technical background in water, wastewater or stormwater is preferred.
• Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills.
• Problem solving, leadership and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and an assigned customer base, coordinating with branch staff through delivery.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and target new accounts.
• Quote products and resolve problems to support sales goals.
• Analyze territory competition, devise and communicate sales strategy to management.
• continually improve sales skills and product knowledge; document activities in CRM (Salesforce).
