Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a Waterworks Municipal Outside Sales Representative to support customers in the New Hampshire & Vermont territory or Western Massachusetts & Connecticut. The role includes field-based sales, customer relationship management, and strategic account development.

You'll receive a fuel card, auto allowance, company cell phone and laptop, with total compensation estimated between $90,000 and $140,000 annually.

Qualifications

• 2+ years industry related sales experience is preferred.
• Results oriented and self-motivated with ability to multitask and work in a team.
• Strong communication, time management and organizational skills.
• Problem solving, leadership and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and an assigned customer base, ensuring happiness from order to delivery.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base with sales strategies.
• Perform product quotation and problem resolution.
• Analyze territory competition, devise sales strategy and communicate it to management.
• Continually improve sales skills and product knowledge to project a professional image.
• Document all sales activity in Salesforce for pipeline evaluation and closure results.
