Ferguson is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our Waterworks Division in the Southwest Virginia area. This field-based role focuses on building relationships, expanding the customer base, and driving revenue for a multi-billion-dollar organization.

You will manage product quotations, customer needs, and sales strategy execution while leveraging our extensive product lines and support. We offer a fuel card, auto allowance, travel expenses, company cell phone, and a laptop.

Formación

• 2+ years industry related sales experience preferred.
• Strong technical background and water/wastewater knowledge preferred.
• Results oriented, self-motivated, team player with good communication.
• Excellent time management, organizational skills and problem solving.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and an assigned customer base from order to delivery.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities; develop sales strategies and target accounts.
• Quote products and resolve issues arising in the sales process.
• Analyze territory competition and communicate sales strategy to management.
• Continuously improve sales skills and product knowledge for a professional field presence.
• Log sales activity in Salesforce for pipeline tracking and closure measurement.
