Job summary

HDR is seeking a Business Class Director to lead and coordinate HDR’s Integrated Watershed Management service lines. You will oversee technical direction, collaboration across market sectors, and risk management for large, multi-discipline projects. Remote and multiple US locations are involved; travel required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in related field.
• For Business Class leadership roles, professional registration (Architecture/Engineering) is required.
• Experience developing and managing diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
• Build close working relationships and coordinate with related business classes, market sectors, and operations.
• Lead technical risk management through process and resource reviews and provide advisory services on selected projects.
• Oversee development and application of technical tools, standards, and techniques to enhance service quality and efficiency.
• Monitor business class direction, QA, and staffing to workload allocation.
• Build technical expertise and production capacity through recruitment and training; coordinate strategic hires.
• Support client development and project pursuits; participate in industry organizations.
