Job summary

HDR is seeking a Business Class Director (Integrated Watershed Management) to lead technical capabilities across HDR’s service lines. You will coordinate with market sectors, business groups and operations to ensure high-quality, efficient delivery on large, multi-discipline projects.

Responsibilities include client development, project pursuits, and mentoring technical leaders. The role supports HDR’s employee-owned culture with a strong commitment to quality and professional collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in related field.
• Professional registration (Architect/Engineer) and relevant technical experience for design leadership roles.
• Experience leading diverse teams and collaborating with other directors and managers.
• Committed to quality, HDR values and employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
• Build relationships with related business classes, market sectors and operations.
• Lead technical risk management through process and resource reviews.
• Drive quality assurance and coordinate with the HDR Quality Manager.
• Oversee development and application of technical tools, standards, and techniques.
• Support client development and project pursuits and mentor technical leaders.
• Plan, model, and design services within the business class.
