Job summary

HDR seeks a Business Class Director for Integrated Watershed Management to lead technical capabilities and coordinate across HDR's organizational structure in multiple US locations. The role directs service lines across watershed management, water supply, groundwater and water quality, building industry presence and ensuring high-quality outcomes.

The candidate will mentor technical leaders, oversee planning and design services, and participate in client management and business development.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in related field.
Professional or Architecture/Engineering registration required for leadership roles overseeing technical design.
Experience developing and managing diverse teams.
Works cooperatively with other HDR directors, operations managers and marketing managers.
Committed to quality, HDR values and employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
Coordinate with related business classes, market sectors and operations.
Lead risk management through process and resource reviews and provide technical advisory services.
Oversee development and application of tools, standards and techniques to enhance service quality.
Monitor performance and ensure delivery against policy and quality standards.
Support client development, proposal and project development activities.
