Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Destin, FL is seeking an experienced Field Technician to perform hands-on construction work on commercial waterproofing, façade restoration, concrete repair, and building-envelope projects.

You will work under a Foreman, Superintendent, or Project Manager, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to project specifications. The role includes working at heights on façades, parking garages, and other commercial structures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in waterproofing, concrete repair, façade restoration, masonry, coatings, caulking, or sealant installation is a plus.
• Able to learn and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform commercial waterproofing, concrete repair, façade restoration, and related specialty construction work.
• Follow daily instructions from Foreman, Superintendent, or Project Manager.
• Assist with jobsite setup, mobilization, protection, material staging, cleanup, and demobilization.
• Prepare surfaces for waterproofing, coating, sealant, and concrete repair.
• Remove damaged concrete, coatings, sealants, and other materials using hand and power tools.
• Perform surface prep: grinding, chipping, scraping, cleaning, pressure washing.
• Assist with concrete forming, reinforcing steel installation, patching, finishing, and curing.
• Install or assist with waterproofing membranes, coatings, sealants, expansion joints, traffic-bearing systems.
• Mix, transport, and apply construction materials per manufacturer instructions.
• Assist with crack repair, epoxy injection, joint preparation, caulking, and sealant installation.
• Use tools and machinery safely.
• Assist with scaffolding, aerial lifts, swing stages, rigging, ladders as trained.
• Maintain tools, equipment, materials, and company property.
• Follow jobsite rules, procedures, and GC requirements.
• Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, pre-task planning, and job hazard analyses.
