Job summary

The Director of Aquatics at Great Wolf oversees all aspects of aquatic services, operations, staffing, budgeting, and safety to ensure guest satisfaction and profitability. Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Experience managing a large aquatics department.
• Ellis & Associates licenses (Lifeguard, Leadership, Instructor).
• CPO or AFO license required.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certifications.
• College degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop plans allocating resources across groups or departments.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and department purchases.
• Coordinate cross-functional resort activities.
• Respond to guest comments with operational resolutions.
• Schedule waterpark operations and staffing.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate staff.
• Oversee safety and risk management programs.
• Represent waterpark on resort Executive Committee.
• Monitor equipment and coordinate with Engineering for repairs.
• Enforce safety policies and procedures.
