Job summary

The Aquatics Manager at Great Wolf Lodge in Georgia leads the aquatic operations, oversees pool maintenance, and supervises aquatics staff to ensure safe, enjoyable experiences for guests.

Responsibilities include recruiting and training staff, scheduling programs, enforcing lifeguard certifications, implementing policies, analyzing utilization data, coordinating with the MOD program, and communicating effectively with guests and team members.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Successful completion of background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Lead and recruit, hire, train staff and maintain staffing levels.
• Conduct training and in-service sessions for aquatic staff.
• Develop, implement and monitor waterpark programming and schedules.
• Define department responsibilities and authority.
• Ensure lifeguards are current certified and on duty.
• Implement department policies and procedures.
• Analyze utilization data and planning inputs.
• Participate in MOD program and perform duties.
• Create detailed plans aligned with objectives.
• Communicate effectively with guests and staff to resolve conflicts.
• Supervise team, coach, and manage performance.
