Job summary

Great Wolf Lodge is seeking a Waterpark Maintenance Manager to lead a team of technicians responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of aquatic equipment, ensuring safety and high guest satisfaction.

The role requires supervising staff, maintaining preventive maintenance programs, and coordinating with engineering leadership on projects and shutdowns. Strong knowledge of pool chemistry and safety regulations is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field (or equivalent education/experience)
• 1+ year supervisory/leadership experience
• Minimum 3 years experience in general maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, or waterpark maintenance
• Working knowledge of chemicals, tools, equipment, and supplies used in providing comprehensive building/water park maintenance services
• Successful completions of criminal background check and drug screen
• Availability to work flexible hours and varied shifts including weekends and holidays, as required

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technicians to keep waterpark running safely and efficiently
• Recruit, hire, train, and manage staffing levels for the department
• Supervise staff, coach, and develop team; manage performance
• Oversee maintenance and repairs of waterpark equipment and life safety systems
• Ensure compliance with corporate, brand, and laws; maintain records and docs
• Schedule staff and manage budget; monitor inventory and supplies
• Manage labor, forecasting, and inventory within area of responsibility
• Coordinate with engineering leadership for planned shutdowns and projects
