Massanutten WaterPark in McGaheysville, VA seeks a hardworking Custodian to maintain public areas, restrooms, and other spaces with a focus on safety and cleanliness. Training is available for the right candidate who shows initiative and a customer-first attitude.

The position is full-time with rotating four-week schedules, offering benefits, and opportunities to use resort amenities. Candidate must be at least 18, with strong communication skills and reliability.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial experience preferred, but will train.
• Working knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment (Preferred).
• Proficient in the use of custodial equipment and cleaning supplies (Preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• High school or GED (preferred).
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all bathrooms, windows, locker area, retail areas, and other areas as assigned.
• Collect trash throughout the building.
• Maintain cleanliness of all floors throughout the building including GEP establishments and all public tile floors.
• Clean and polish exterior of lockers.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Job Summary

Maintain public areas, restrooms, or other assigned areas in clean and orderly condition. Remove trash, vacuum, mopping, stripping and polishing, etc. Practices safe work habits through the appropriate use of chemicals, equipment and cleaning applications. (Will train the right candidate).

Requirements:

• Week One: Monday through Friday | Off: Saturday & Sunday
• Week Two: Monday, Thursday through Sunday | Off: Tuesday & Wednesday
• Week Four: Monday through Thursday, & Sunday | Off: Friday & Saturday

Hours:

• 7:0 AM-3:30 PM

Compensation

• Pay: $12.77/Hour
