Job summary

Massanutten WaterPark in McGaheysville, VA is seeking a self-motivated Custodian for the second shift. You will maintain public areas, restrooms, and other spaces with proper safety practices, and will be trained as needed.

You must be at least 18, with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn. Full-time year-round work includes benefits and uniforms.

Qualifications

• Prior custodial experience preferred; training provided.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment preferred.
• Proficient with custodial equipment and cleaning supplies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, windows, locker area, retail areas, and other areas as assigned.
• Collect trash throughout the building.
• Maintain cleanliness of all floors throughout the building including GEP establishments and all public tile floors.
• Clean and polish exterior of lockers.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

We're searching for a self-motivated, detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at the Massanutten WaterPark. If you take pride in your work and are committed to exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you!

Job Summary

Maintain public areas, restrooms, or other assigned areas in clean and orderly condition. Remove trash, vacuum, mopping, stripping and polishing, etc. Practices safe work habits through the appropriate use of chemicals, equipment and cleaning applications. (Will train the right candidate).

Requirements:

• Previous custodial experience preferred, but will train
• Have working knowledge of cleaning methods, material, and equipment (Preferred)
• Proficient in the use of custodial equipment and cleaning supplies (Preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• High school or GED (preferred)
• Must be at least 18 years old

Job Type: Full-time

Days: Rotating Four-Week Schedule

• Week One: Monday through Friday | Off: Saturday & Sunday
• Week Two: Monday, Thursday through Sunday | Off: Tuesday & Wednesday
• Week Four: Monday through Thursday, & Sunday | Off: Friday & Saturday

Hours:

• 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM; additional hours as needed

Compensation

• Pay: $13.00/Hour
