Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain pool water quality and filtration per state codes.
• Maintain attractions, the building, and its components while prioritizing jobs and budgets.
• Purchase and maintain an inventory of parts and supplies for day-to-day operations.
• Create and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule for mechanical equipment.
• Administer employee onboarding and management including hiring, training, coaching, developing, and disciplining staff.
• Enter time and attendance in payroll system.
• Use Physical Plant P.O. system.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Work Here, Play Here! 100% Employee owned! Massanutten Resort is searching for a Waterpark Facility Manager to join their Waterpark Maintenance department. The right candidate must be reliable, dependable, detail oriented, and have general maintenance and custodial experience.

Job Summary

The Waterpark Facility Manager operates and maintains all maintenance aspects of Massanutten Waterpark with a focus on employee and guest safety. This includes the management of water quality within the state pool codes for public use. Manage a staff of custodian and maintenance employees that understand working in a public environment while effectively completing assignments. Ensure all staff is working in accordance with departmental goals. Develop, train, and communicate departmental goals, manage staff and ensure objectives are met.

Required

• Operate and maintain pool water quality and filtration within state pool codes including the maintenance of motors, pumps, sand filters, and ultraviolet light disinfection units
• Maintain all attractions, the building, and its components in working ordering while prioritizing jobs and working within a set budget
• Purchase and maintain an inventory of parts and supplies to ensure normal day-to-day operations run smoothly
• Create and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule for mechanical equipment
• Administer employee onboarding and management including hiring, training, coaching, developing, and disciplining staff according to resort standards and policies
• Enter time and attendance in payroll system
• Use Physical Plant P.O. system
• Other duties as assigned by management
