Job summary

Massanutten Resort is seeking a self-motivated Custodian for the Massanutten WaterPark, First Shift. You will maintain public areas, restrooms, and other assigned spaces with a focus on cleanliness and safety. Training is provided for the right candidate.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, reliable communication, and the ability to follow cleaning procedures using appropriate chemicals and tools. Benefits are available, and full-time, year-round employment is offered.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial experience preferred, but will train.
• Attention to detail.
• Have working knowledge of cleaning methods, material, and equipment (Preferred).
• Proficient in the use of custodial equipment and cleaning supplies (Preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• High school or GED (preferred).
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all bathrooms, windows, locker area, retail areas, and other areas as assigned.
• Collect trash throughout the building.
• Maintain cleanliness of all floors throughout the building including GEP establishments and all public tile floors.
• Clean and polish exterior of lockers.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Job Summary

Maintain public areas, restrooms, or other assigned areas in clean and orderly condition. Remove trash, vacuum, mopping, stripping and polishing, etc. Practices safe work habits through the appropriate use of chemicals, equipment and cleaning applications. (Will train the right candidate).

Days:

• Week One: Monday through Friday | Off: Saturday & Sunday
• Week Two: Monday, Thursday through Sunday | Off: Tuesday & Wednesday
• Week Three: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, & Sunday | Off: Monday & Friday
• Week Four: Monday through Thursday, & Sunday | Off: Friday & Saturday

Hours:

• 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

Compensation

• Pay: $12.77/Hour
