Job summary

Massanutten WaterPark in Virginia is hiring a dependable Custodian for the second shift to maintain clean public areas and restrooms. You will perform duties like trash removal, vacuuming, and floor care in a fast-paced resort environment.

Training is provided; strong attention to detail and good communication are essential. This is a full-time, year-round position with benefits and resort employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial experience preferred, but training provided.
• Attention to detail in cleaning public areas.
• Working knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, windows, locker area, retail areas, and other areas as assigned.
• Collect trash throughout the building.
• Maintain cleanliness of all floors throughout the building.
• Clean and polish exterior of lockers.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

We're searching for a self-motivated, detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at the Massanutten WaterPark. If you take pride in your work and are committed to exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you!

Job Summary

Maintain public areas, restrooms, or other assigned areas in clean and orderly condition. Remove trash, vacuum, mopping, stripping and polishing, etc. Practices safe work habits through the appropriate use of chemicals, equipment and cleaning applications. (Will train the right candidate).

Requirements

• Previous custodial experience preferred, but will train
• Attention to detail
• Have working knowledge of cleaning methods, material, and equipment (Preferred)
• Proficient in the use of custodial equipment and cleaning supplies (Preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• High school or GED (preferred)
• Must be at least 18 years old

Job Type: Full-time

Days:

• Week One: Monday through Friday | Off: Saturday & Sunday
• Week Two: Monday, Thursday through Sunday | Off: Tuesday & Wednesday
• Week Three: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, & Sunday | Off: Monday & Friday
• Week Four: Monday through Thursday, & Sunday | Off: Friday & Saturday

Hours

• 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM; additional hours as needed

Compensation

• Pay: $13.00/Hour

Core Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all bathrooms, windows, locker area, retail areas, and other areas as assigned
• Collect trash throughout the building
• Maintain cleanliness of all floors throughout the building including GEP establishments and all public tile floors
• Clean and polish exterior of lockers
• Other duties as assigned by management
