Job summary

Massanutten WaterPark in McGaheysville, VA is hiring a Custodian (First Shift). You will maintain public areas and restrooms, manage trash, vacuum, mop, and follow safe cleaning procedures. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

The role requires reliability, basic cleaning knowledge, and at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED preferred. Full-time, year-round schedule with benefits and uniforms offered by Massanutten Resort.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial experience preferred, but will train.
• Working knowledge of cleaning methods, material, and equipment (Preferred)
• Proficient in the use of custodial equipment and cleaning supplies (Preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Must be at least 18 years old

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, windows, locker area, retail areas, and other areas as assigned
• Collect trash throughout the building
• Maintain cleanliness of all floors throughout the building including GEP establishments and all public tile floors
• Clean and polish exterior of lockers
• Other duties as assigned by management

Job Summary

Maintain public areas, restrooms, or other assigned areas in clean and orderly condition. Remove trash, vacuum, mopping, stripping and polishing, etc. Practices safe work habits through the appropriate use of chemicals, equipment and cleaning applications. (Will train the right candidate).

Requirements:

Schedule:

Days: Rotating Four-Week Schedule

• Week One: Monday through Friday | Off: Saturday & Sunday
• Week Two: Monday, Thursday through Sunday | Off: Tuesday & Wednesday
• Week Four: Monday through Thursday, & Sunday | Off: Friday & Saturday

Hours:

• 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

Compensation

• Pay: $12.77/Hour
