Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Pocono Manor, PA, seeks a Beverage Supervisor - Waterpark to lead the beverage team and support daily operations behind the bar, while engaging guests with friendly, courteous service.

You will partner with the Beverage Manager to coach staff, uphold safety and quality standards, and ensure a welcoming, high-energy environment across the waterpark venues.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older is required.
• 3 years of extensive hospitality management experience preferred.
• Certificate of alcohol awareness/safety and food handling may be required.
• Leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect and service to others.

Responsibilities

• Understand all beverage policies, procedures and standards for beverage outlets.
• Ensure food and beverages are prepared and served per recipes and standards.
• Fill in as needed to maintain guest service standards and daily operations.
• Keep equipment clean and in good working condition through maintenance routines.
• Oversee bartenders, barbacks and cocktail servers to ensure timely, quality orders.
• Assist Beverage Manager to coach and train staff in leadership and professional development.

Beverage Supervisor - Waterpark

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking aBeverage Supervisor - Waterpark. In this role, you willbe responsible forsupporting the waterpark beverage team in their daily operations, including assistingbehind the bar, interacting with guests, and overseeing a sage workplace.

As part of our leadership team,you’llembody our Promise toLead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences.You’llensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous serviceat all times.

This is an hourly wage role.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications,guidelinesand training programs for all beverage outlets within the Resort

• Ensure that all food and beverage products are consistently prepared and served according to the venue’s recipes, portioning, and serving standards.

• Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations are met daily.

• Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following preventative maintenance programs

• Ensure that the bartenders/barbacks/cocktail servers are providing all orders on time and made with quality and consistency, according to specifications.

• Assist Beverage Manager to develop, coach, and trainnew staffand existing staff in all areas of managerial and professional development

WhatWe’reLooking For

• We do require that youare21 years of age.

• State and Local laws may require a certificate of alcohol awareness/safety classes and food handling certifications

• A leadership stylerootedin collaboration, respect, and service to others.

• 3 years extensive experience in bar, restaurant, kitchen, hotel, resort management preferred

• This is a full-time position with various work hours and days based on business needs.It regularly requires evening and weekend work
