Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Waterpark Bartender to deliver friendly, responsive service and craft quality beverages for our waterpark guests. You will be part of a leadership-minded team, creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring guest satisfaction through attentive service.

Ideal candidates have bartending experience in a full-service setting, the ability to operate Micros POS, and a commitment to safe, responsible beverage service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Prior restaurant/bartender/lounge experience in a full-service restaurant or beverage venue is a must.
• Ability to operate a Micros (cash register) terminal and Phone system.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive welcoming, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
• Greet guests, share specials, provide menu/beverage tours, and recommend items.
• Take orders, input into POS, relay to kitchen and bar.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar; sanitize glasses, napkins, coasters, and garnishes.
• Monitor guests' alcohol consumption and take appropriate actions to ensure safety and brand integrity.

Waterpark Bartender

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Waterpark Bartender. In this role, you will provide friendly, responsive and consistent service to create a beyond expectation food and beverage experience for all guests in the waterpark.

As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll create a welcoming atmosphere, crafting quality beverages, and engaging guests with friendly, attentive service.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
• Greet guests immediately, inform them of specials, provide menu and beverage tours, and recommend items/drinks you genuinely feel guests will enjoy and advise on menu changes.
• Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter ordersinthe point-of-sale system whichrelaysorders to the kitchen and bar.
• Maintain bar area; including keeping the bar top/counters and wash area neat and organized, ashtrays emptied and wiped out, dirty cocktail glasses removed, washed and sterilized; any napkins, coasters, straws or discarded garnishes cleaned up.
• Be aware of guests’ rate of consumption of alcohol and its effect and take immediate corrective action to help the guest as well as to protect the interest of Kalahari Resorts and its associates.

What We’re Looking For

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Prior restaurant/bartender/lounge experience in a full-service restaurant or beverage venue isa mustand/or background in the service industry is a plus.
• Ability to operate a Micros (cash register) terminal and Phone system.
