Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Beverage Supervisor - Waterpark to support the waterpark beverage team in daily operations, assist behind the bar, interact with guests, and oversee a safe workplace.

The role is hourly and part of the leadership team; candidates should have strong collaboration, guest-service focus, and relevant management experience in hospitality settings. Inclusive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• Certificate of alcohol awareness/safety classes and food handling certifications may be required.
• Leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.
• 3 years of extensive experience in bar, restaurant, kitchen, hotel, resort management preferred.
• Full-time position with evening and weekend hours based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs for all beverage outlets within the Resort.
• Ensure that all food and beverage products are consistently prepared and served according to the venue’s recipes, portioning, and serving standards.
• Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations are met daily.
• Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following preventative maintenance programs.
• Ensure that the bartenders/barbacks/cocktail servers are providing all orders on time and made with quality and consistency, according to specifications.
• Assist Beverage Manager to develop, coach, and train new staff and existing staff in all areas of managerial and professional development.

• State and Local laws may require a certificate of alcohol awareness/safety classes and food handling certifications
• A leadership stylerootedin collaboration, respect, and service to others.
• 3 years extensive experience in bar, restaurant, kitchen, hotel, resort management preferred
• This is a full-time position with various work hours and days based on business needs.It regularly requires evening and weekend work
