Qualifications

• Ellis & Associates lifeguard certification preferred but not required.
• Minimum of three years of supervisory experience.
• Strong written and oral communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to think strategically and adapt to changing conditions.
• Must be able to meet physical demands and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operational functions for safe, efficient Hurricane Harbor operations.
• Ensure 100% SOP and safety compliance per Six Flags and governing guidelines.
• Supervise seasonal team members and leadership; assist in hiring and recognition.
• Maintain staffing levels and assist in recruiting when needed.
• Monitor lifeguard program compliance and in-service training.
• Work with Ops Manager on annual budget and business plan.
• Model park policies and enforce Six Flags standards.
• Train, audit, and ensure compliance with labor laws and policies.
• Interact with guests, resolve complaints, and address concerns.
• Coordinate training, recruiting, and winterization activities.
• Assist in other park areas during peak times and strategic periods.
• Perform other duties to support Six Flags New England.
