Job summary

Six Flags New England is seeking a hands-on Operations Supervisor for Hurricane Harbor, focusing on safety, staff development, and guest experience. You will train and coordinate seasonal Team Members, ensure SOP compliance, and help manage budgets and labor planning.

Responsibilities include recruiting, scheduling, and performance management, while maintaining Six Flags standards and responding to guest concerns with professionalism and urgency.

Qualifications

• ILTP certification: Ellis & Associates ILTP Instructor Certification preferred but not required.
• Degree or relevant work experience in theme park operations; minimum of three years supervisory experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Capacity to think and act strategically to help improve the overall operation.
• Capacity for creative problem-solving and conflict resolution.
• Strong work ethic and sense of fun.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, including walking long distances, standing for long periods of time.
• 18 years old or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving history.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all operational functions related to the safe and efficient operation of Hurricane Harbor.
• Ensuring 100% compliance with SOPs and safety standards.
• Supervising seasonal Team Members and leadership, including hiring and discipline decisions.
• Staffing and recruiting support as needed.
• Monitor Ellis & Associates program and lifeguard certifications.
• Assist in annual operating budget and business planning.
• Enforce park policies and Six Flags standards.
• Train, audit, and ensure compliance with labor laws and park policies.
• Interact with Guests and resolve complaints.
• Coordinate training, recruiting, and winterization activities.
• Assist in other park areas during strategic times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
