Job summary

Six Flags New England is seeking a hands-on operations supervisor for Hurricane Harbor. You will train, develop, and coordinate a team to deliver safe, efficient park operations with a focus on safety, guest experience, and compliance.

The role requires leadership experience in a theme park setting, strong communication skills, and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Salary starts at $50-60K annually and includes growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Lifeguard certification programs and requirements per Ellis & Associates.
• Degree or relevant experience in theme park operations.
• Minimum of three years supervisory experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to think strategically to improve operations.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operational functions for safe, efficient Hurricane Harbor operation.
• Ensure 100% SOP and safety guideline compliance with Six Flags and federal/state rules.
• Supervise seasonal team members and leadership, including hiring and rewards.
• Maintain staffing levels and assist in recruiting when needed.
• Monitor Ellis & Associates program compliance including lifeguard training.
• Work with Operations Manager on annual budget and business plan.
• Enforce park policies and Six Flags standards.
• Train, audit, and ensure compliance with labor laws and park policies.
• Interact with guests, resolve complaints, and address concerns.
• Coordinate training, recruiting, and winterization activities.
• Assist in other park areas during strategic times.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support Six Flags New England.
